On March 28, the eastern portion of Mineola Station will re-open and temporary platforms on the west end will close;
- Eastbound passengers exiting/boarding at Mineola must be in the first eight cars
- Westbound passengers boarding/exiting at Mineola must be in the last eight cars
Beginning March 28 and until further notice, the temporary platforms at the west end of Mineola Station will close. At the eastern end, both north and south side platforms will reopen as renovation work continues. North side ADA platform access ramps are located by the existing overpass and elevator. South side ADA platform access ramps are located just east of 3rd Ave, by 2nd Ave, and by 4th Ave. Additionally, at the east end of the platform, there will be staircases on both the north and south sides of the track just east of Mineola Boulevard. At the west end of the platform, on the south side only, there will be a staircase east of 4th Ave.
The ticket vending machines on the south side of the station are now located east of 3rd Avenue. Locations and platform access points are illustrated below.
