On Wednesday night, November 13, LIRR Expansion Project Community Ambassador Seth Sylvan, MTA-LIRR project management team member Dan Marcy, and 3TC’s Travis Brennan and Ginger Conforti attended the Village of Mineola Board meeting to share important updates on the LIRR Expansion Project’s work in the local community, provide details on exciting new elements to come with the Project, and answer questions from the Village of Mineola board members.
Along with a timeline for future projects in Mineola, 3TC’s Brennan discussed the fast approaching completion of the Harrison Avenue Parking Structure. Other beneficial projects discussed at the meeting included the Willis Avenue Grade Crossing Elimination Project, which will enhance safety and provide for a quieter and more livable community, along with enhancements to come on Mineola Station.
