The construction teams working on the LIRR Expansion Project continue to achieve significant milestones. While we are pleased with what we’ve accomplished to date, we would appreciate your input on our progress and performance.
Prior to kicking off the LIRR Expansion Project, MTACC/LIRR developed a series of environmental and community commitments, in coordination with the Project-adjacent communities, to minimize construction-related impacts. MTACC/LIRR established the Design-Builder Incentive Program, a monetary fund to incentivize 3rd Track Constructors (3TC), the Project’s Design-Builder, to ensure that they adhere to these commitments.
We invite you to participate in the Design-Builder Incentive Program’s Community Scorecard and provide your input on 3TC’s performance during the third quarter of 2019 (July 1, 2019 through September 30, 2019). Your feedback helps determine whether 3TC earns the incentive payment for this quarter. In addition, your input is instrumental in improving construction impact minimization techniques, as well as project outreach efforts.
If you live within approximately 400 feet of a project element, a Community Scorecard has been mailed to your home. Please follow the directions on the cover letter to complete a copy of the Community Scorecard that was sent to your residence.
