To make way for the elimination of the street-level railroad crossing at Covert Avenue, 3TC and their subcontractor crews have demolished 124 Covert Avenue and are now clearing the area of the remnants.
The demolition occurred in just one day, with little to no impact on traffic in the area.
Last month, 3TC ensured the safety of the public and their crews by completing environmental testing of the existing structure.
Work will continue at the site through December 14.
